"We will remember this year and this edition of Woman’s Essence as a moment unlike previous ones—steeped in uncertainty, anxiety, unanswered questions, new reflections, and significant realizations. Yet, we will also remember it as a moment in our lives when the idea and need emerged to create an image capable of forging a memory. Our iconic image—the one we carry with us from this latest experience—is that of a chorus of voices. Through their expression, they bear witness to posterity, and above all to us, their contemporaries, of how the world found common ground in this health, human, and cultural struggle.
Art has navigated this dark period—as it has always done—by embracing every permissible form of expression and sowing the seeds of a new epiphany, one in which we all have an immense need to place our trust."
