"The Army of Art" – A Group Exhibition

A project promoted by the Arte Altra Cultural Association, under the artistic direction of Simona Sarti, who also conceived the initiative.

An installation rich in social content, reflecting a contemporary reality that seeks to engage the viewer and stimulate reflection on numerous current issues.

The choice of a headless mannequin evokes the Pirandellian power found in Eduardo’s Voci di dentro ("Inner Voices"); here, each participant's intent is expressed through the work performed on the figure, all sharing a common goal: to create a unified artistic energy that embodies our times.

It is a contribution toward bringing to life thoughts already imprinted in the minds of the audience.

This is conceptual art where the idea flows through each artist's contribution; while varying colors influence perception in different ways, the fundamental connection with the object—the mannequin—remains powerful.

A unified voice declares that culture is something that does not wear out; its dissemination is essential, serving as the culmination of a creative act and the aesthetic translation of a distinct sensibility.

During the opening, the mannequins will be accompanied by narrating voices expressing the defining characteristic of each figure. A reading will reveal how each artist sought to make an emotional impact through a specific trait, color, or molded material.

Visitors will become protagonists of the artistic action: they can contribute by stepping onto a platform placed within the artistic arena, thereby becoming—for a time—an integral part of the installation.

They may blend into or stand out within the creative context, helping to shape the ever-unresolved interactive dynamic between the artist, the artwork, and its enigmatic observer. Art historian Floriana Mauro will speak at the event.
