“Observe the matter filling his eyes—the sole force revealing the static habit of chaos. Observe the form—the only movement reflected in the act. Disappearance becomes an imprinted element, a unique journey of absent corporeality.
Serpentine lines, imbued with lustrous colors, move and spill over into the realm where our minds imagine the very essence of matter, allowing itself to be embraced by time.
Time piles its passage onto the walls of buildings—unnoticed by most—peeling away the soul of the contemporary landscape and penetrating it with its indomitable mark. Signs, clues, and chance expressions that have already shifted since yesterday.
And so, the memory and sensation of an observant passerby transform into a shared signal.”

Christian Rizzo was born in Salerno, where he earned a diploma in Advertising Graphics and Photography.
He soon moved to Rome to continue his studies at R.U.F.A. (Rome University of Fine Arts). His training continued with a master’s program at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia.
During his time in Rome, he engaged in countless artistic and professional collaborations, yet his photographic work follows a distinct, unifying thread: it chronicles accumulation—of passages, stories, and lives—capturing all that flows and lingers after being swept there by chance and the passage of time. Abstract forms embrace every kind of mood. Currently, he/she is a lecturer in Photography and Post-Production at R.U.F.A. (Rome University of Fine Arts).
