He began studying music and acting—as well as drawing comics—at a very young age. In 1997, he founded the theater company Musici & Comici, with which he staged the first full-symphonic version of *Jesus Christ Superstar* in Italy. In 1998, he graduated from the Silvio d’Amico National Academy of Dramatic Art.
He toured with numerous artists from the Italian theater scene and frequently collaborated with performers from the international company Gen Rosso.
He made his film debut in 2003 in *La meglio gioventù 2* (The Best of Youth, Part 2), directed by Marco Tullio Giordana. In 2005, he played the lead role in the miniseries *Mio figlio*, directed by Luciano Odorisio.
He won the 2011 Golden Graal award for "Rising Star of the Theater" and received a special mention at the 2012 "Teatro per la Memoria" awards.
