✍ Salvatore Quasimodo (1901–1968) wrote in his poem Nell'isola (On the Island):
A hill, the symbols
Of time, the mirror of the mind
Continuous yet motionless
They listen to themselves, awaiting the future answer.
Our hour strikes imperceptibly, a sharp ray
In the harmonic labyrinth.

13 Chinese painters from Sichuan will hold an exhibition of paintings in Rome. Each work in the exhibition is not only full of elements of Eastern culture but also embodies modern visual experiences within the context of globalization. Salvatore Quasimodo (1901-1968) wrote in his poem On the Island: A Hill, the symbols of time, the mirror of mind continuous, motionless, listening to themselves, await the future answer. This hour of ours appears without warning, a narrow beam in the harmonic labyrinth. This exhibition of Chinese artists is just like this and well surely bring us different experiences of places, countries and cultures.
