Paraskenia

A group exhibition featuring Luca Valerio D'Amico, Eduardo Fiorito, and Omar Sandrini, curated by Francesca Basso.

This art exhibition is organized by the "Ad Arte Calcata Teatro Cine Festival" in collaboration with the Palazzo Velli exhibition space—showcasing some of its most established artists—as part of the "Diversi si Nasce" event. From July 8 to 12, 2015, they will present "Paraskenia" in Calcata at the Palazzo Baronale (Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, No. 5). The exhibition's title alludes to the side entrances of the classical Greek theater (*paraskenia*), symbolizing figurative art as a welcoming gateway to the rest of the Calcata Arts Festival and its associated initiatives. The Calcata Festival is renowned not only for the unique atmosphere of its setting but also for its focus on theater, cinema, and events held in the Greek-style theater, which serves as the focal point of the entire festival.
